I am a long-term resident of Montgomery County, PA. I grew up in Lansdale and started my family in Harleysville. These days I enjoy the wide-open spaces near my home in Pennsburg.
My journey into technology began even before finishing high school. I was the go-to tech troubleshooter for family and friends, a role that led me to positions in desktop support at Penn State and later, Aetna.
After earning a B.S. in Information Science & Technology from Penn State and an M.S. in Information Science & Technology from Drexel University, I ventured into software development at Aetna. There, I honed my skills in creating websites and desktop applications.
I gravitated toward the field of User Experience Research, because I could influence more teams to craft easy to use products. I’ve worked independently as well as for AnswerLab, an agency with clients such as Google, Meta, and Amazon and more. As a researcher, I conducted interviews, concept testing, usability studies and surveys to make user-friendly products.
What brings me the greatest joy is assisting individuals, particularly seniors, in navigating technology. You could say I have returned to my roots with all the knowledge I’ve gained along the way. Seeing people become confident and empowered with technology is immensely fulfilling. With patience, empathy, and a personalized touch, I aim to demystify technology for my clients, making it safe, accessible, and enjoyable for them.
